It's been described as the final frontier in male grooming, but more and more men are using flat irons to straighten their hair. The male grooming market has been growing rapidly over the last few years and now it seems that the next big market could be male hair straightening tools.

Previously a woman-only grooming gadget, hair straighteners are now increasingly bought by guys, many of whom have seen how much of a difference it makes to the girlfriends' locks.

Leading manufacturer GHD has just revealed that 25pc of its online sales are to young men.
